In the last few months we’ve had a surge of visitors coming from the Netherlands! I know that's a long drive, especially wearing a pair of wooden shoes but well worth it.
Anyway two very nice visitors from the Netherlands brought Mayor Dean of Old Car City a present, a pair of Klompen! Dean now has his very own authentic pair of klompen and to my amazement klompen are still being used in the Netherlands today primarily by gardeners and farmers, as you can see the Mayor is loving his ;)
If you've never been to Old Car City USA we invite everyone to come see what all the rage is about, but you may want to wear some sneakers to cover the 6+ miles of trails!
